Q: Where do you do your monitoring? Is it off-site or out of state?
A: East Texas Alarm, Inc.’s Central Station is located in Tyler, Texas.

Q: Do you monitor accounts for other companies?
A: No. We monitor our own accounts only. We do not monitor systems for other security companies.

Q: Are your systems proprietary? Can they be monitored or serviced by others or do I have to have everything replaced if I become unhappy with your service?
A: East Texas Alarm, Inc. installs equipment that can be monitored and serviced by others. We do not intentionally install unique equipment that only we can obtain and sell.

Q: What is your standard response for repair service?
A: We offer same day service if the request is called in by 10 am and next day service for requests received after 10 am. If the service call is considered an emergency, we will be there the same day to make the repair.

Q: What is your service area?
A: We cover the East Texas area and surrounding counties. About a 100 mile radius of Tyler.

Q: Can you monitor or service my existing system?
A: We can monitor most security systems.

Q: Do you use subcontractors to install your systems?
A: No. We use our own employees (that are background checked) to do all of our installations. The state of Texas does background checks on all our employees.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: East Texas Alarm, Inc. has been in business since 1965.

Q: Are you able to obtain a bond for a large project?
A: Yes, we can provide a bid bond and a performance bond.
